Oak Hill Academy in Mouth of Wilson, Virginia is one of the nation’s best high school basketball programs. Head coach Steve Smith has been leading the program for 35 years and has coached 35 NBA players and 33 McDonald’s All-Americans. He joins Noah Coslov and Adam Stanco to discuss why Carmelo Anthony could have gone pro after HS, how he helped get Rajon Rondo to Kentucky, the challenges Rod Strickland posed for Michael Jordan, how Lamar Odom handed Oak Hill its only home loss during Smith’s tenure. They also discuss one-and-done players, Jerry Stackhouse’s legendary toughness , why he never left his job and much more.
